How to perform Lakshmi Puja in the shop on Diwali (Diwali Puja Vidhi)
- While worshiping on Diwali, ghee and oil lamps are lit in front of Goddess Lakshmi. Keep in mind that the ghee lamp should be lit towards your left hand. The oil lamp should be kept towards your right hand.
- On the day of Diwali, clean the office and shop thoroughly. Flowers, lights, rangoli and decorations are done at the workplace.
- Worship the idol of Goddess Lakshmi and Ganpati ji with Panchopachar at the place of worship in the shop or office.
- Offer Ashtagandha, flowers, kheel, batasha, sweets and fruits. After this the ledgers are worshipped.
- Make swastikas and auspicious marks with kumkum in new ledgers and offer Akshat and flowers.
- Pray to the Goddess of Wealth for progress and prosperity in business and perform aarti and distribute prasad among everyone.
